  7. To install, run "setup.exe" from the CD-ROM. 
  8.  
  9. Setup will install 4 megabytes to your hard drive and
  10. it will modify the "win.ini" file.

  14. COMMON PROBLEMS AND THEIR SOLUTIONS

  17. If you experience problems with the video playback:
  18.  
  19.    Run "iv5setup.exe" for Windows 95/98 or NT.
  20.  
  21. If you receive a "Decompressor unavailable" error message:
  22.  
  23.    Run "iv5setup.exe" for Windows 95/98 or NT.
  24.  
  25. If you receive a "device channel could not be found" error message:
  26.  
  27.    Check the sound card and make sure that it is functioning properly.      
  28.    *** A sound card is required.
  29.  
  30. If the slides/colors do not look correct:
  31.  
  32.    Set the display properties to a setting higher than 8-bit/256 colors.
  33.  
  34.    These settings should work:
  35.         15-bit/32k colors
  36.         16-bit/64k colors
  37.         24-bit/16m colors/True color
  38.  
  39.    *** If these settings are not available, lower the screen resolution
  40.        to 640 x 480 to display more colors.
